Wilimee Wines, Macedon Ranges

Fiano | Chardonnay | Pinot Noir | Shiraz

Soil, vines and underwater wine.

A hidden gem is nestled high up in the Great Dividing Ranges.  A small vineyard planted on some of Australia’s oldest soil is the home of Ben Ranken’s Wilimee wines.  Some of Macedon’s oldest vines grow on two unique soil types from which Ben makes two distinctive wines.  Visit in the winter and you’ll taste the wines by the warmth of the fire, in the summer taste in the vineyard amongst the vines and the heirloom veggies with views of Mt William summit above.  Besides making good wines Ben is known for his sensibility for the land; he is proud to tend healthy and beautiful landscapes for generations to come.  A creative soul, if you’re lucky you will try a wine from Ben’s recent experiment; a wine matured underwater for the last five years!  Tastings are free of charge, organise a visit here today.
